It is the males that are part of a breeding program that most often make a breeder's 'name'. We have been unusually lucky to have had some wonderful dogs that we think have become a part of the fabric of Golden Retrievers in the United States. Nothing is as bittersweet as to be at a dog event or get a photo from someone sending a picture of a dog that they love and that is a part of your history.
